C.A.R.E. Comments

C.A.R.E. has created a new interest in our church that in my 42 years of pastoring I have not seen. C.A.R.E. is a simple, yet profound ministry that involves and empowers every member of the church. I fully recommend to any church of any size.

"Our Lord commanded us to go and make disciples and that is a two-fold task. We MUST reach out to those around us (out reach) or else we are ignoring the "Go." On the other hand, if we don't take care of those we have (in reach), we are not truly "Making Disciples." C.A.R.E. is the ministry which allows Christians to live out the mandates of Scripture. For years I have heard sermons telling me what I should "DO" for the Lord without a clear avenue to accomplish that task. With C.A.R.E., I have an avenue to allow people to do what God called them to do, and that is to be Christians Actively Reaching Everyone!"

At Calvary we have been a part of the C.A.R.E. ministry in its early stages. So far it has impacted our church with a fresh spirit of revival. We have made more contacts in one week than all weeks combined last year. Two souls accepted Christ as Savior the very first week! What is happening is the most wonderful thing I have experienced in 30 years of pastoring. More of my church members are involved in this ministry than all the other ministries combined.
